Siemens also provides constant support to customers after
delivery of the machines or plant. This includes spare parts,
repairs, as well as other supplementary services, and has a
positive effect on machine operating times, inventories and
costs.
When customers purchase a high-quality machine or plant, they
intend to use it as intensively as possible, preferably for three
shifts a day over many years. Under such circumstances, it is
normal for parts to fail eventually. It is essential to replace the
