Overview
Example of PM250D Power Module, frame size FSA
The regenerative feedback capability of the PM250D Power
Module in generating mode (electronic braking) means that
energy is returned to the supply system and not wasted in a
braking resistor. This saves space, time-consuming dimension-
ing of the braking resistor as well as its wiring. Generated heat is
also reduced.

An innovative circuit design reduces the line harmonics. A line
reactor is not required. This saves space and costs for engineer-
ing and procurement.
The PM250D Power Module is also designed for safety-oriented
applications. In conjunction with a fail-safe Control Unit, the drive
can be transformed into a Safety Integrated Drive (
see Control
Units
).
The PM250D Power Modules with integrated line filter class A
are suitable for connection to TN and TT supply systems.
