Overview
The use of variable-speed motors enables savings to be achieved in many applications through higher system efficiencies compared
to fixed-speed operation.
H-compact and H-compact PLUS motors have proven themselves many times over in variable-speed applications. For these motor
series, special versions have been designed for operation with SINAMICS GM150 and SINAMICS SM150 medium-voltage converters.
These motor versions have, as standard, a reinforced stator winding insulation so that they can be fed from drive converters without
requiring a sine-wave filter. Further, both bearings are electrically insulated and the shaft is equipped with a grounding system.
The motor insulation system corresponds to thermal class 155 (F) and they are generally utilized to thermal class 155 (F).
