The hybrid switching technology uses low-wear semiconductor technology for switching the
motor on and off, and in the operating phase it relies on energy-saving relay technology.
This ensures durability, especially with high frequency of operation, and thus significantly reduces
maintenance costs and extends the life of the motor starters. In addition, due to the hybrid
switching technology, motor starters have lower electromagnetic interference emissions,
enabling you to increase your plant availability. Further energy savings are provided by the
integrated electronic overload protection. This causes a lower intrinsic power loss than
comparable motor feeders with thermal overload protection. In this way, you benefit from reduced
heat generation and therefore lower cooling power. And that saves energy.
