Manual brake release
The brakes L can be supplied with a manual brake release lever.
The manual brake release lever can be used to release the brake
at zero current. When the brake has been released, the motor
shaft can rotate freely in order to bring the output shaft to a cer-
tain position or for use as an emergency release in the event of
a power failure, for example.
The manual brake release lever can be fixed in the released
position using an additional locking mechanism mounted on
the brake.
Only the manual brake release lever with locking mechanism
can be selected for brakes FDX.
The manual brake release lever can be mounted in various dif-
ferent positions. The position of the manual brake release lever
relates to the standard design of the motor. The standard posi-
tion is "2".
