Overview
Radial shaft seal
Radial shaft seals are suitable for low to average operating
speeds. They can be used for all types and sizes.
Other features are:
•
Wearing seal, however, easy to maintain
•
Local heat development on sealing lip; therefore,
adequate lubrication (cooling) required
•
Commercial product
•
Design with low oil level on request
Taconite
Taconite seals are a combination of grease-filled, refillable
labyrinth seals and radial shaft seals.
With this seal a high degree of operational reliability is achieved
for the gear unit in dusty environments. This seal is a combina-
tion of 3 sealing elements which protect the gear unit from the
ingress of dust-like particles.
