The values for torsional stiffness apply to the complete coupling.
In the case of types NHN and NZN to a coupling with shaft dis-
tance S = 1000 mm. In the case of type NWN, the torsional stiff-
ness applies to a coupling without
intermediate or torsion shaft.
The torsional stiffness of the plate packs applies to the rated
coupling torque

. To determine the torsional stiffness for a
specific operating point, e.g. for calculating torsional vibration,
the manufacturer must be consulted.
