Motor filter
You use motor filters to reduce the load on the motor winding
and to reduce discharge current to PE with long motor cables.
Motor filters ensure reliable drive operations with up to 100m
of shielded or 200m of unshielded motor cable.
ƒ
The voltage drop on the motor filter with a filter rated
current and a frequency of 50Hz is typically around 3% of
the max. output voltage of the inverter. Observe the oper-
ating conditions of the motor filter .

A motor filter is needed:

When using unshielded motor cables, compliance with
EMC only applies with regard to cable-linked interference
emissions.
ƒ
as of 50m of shielded or 100m of unshielded motor cable
(regardless of observance of EMC requirements)
ƒ
