EagleBurgmann BT Mechanical seals
Mechanical seal for large-series cold water pumps, produced in millions of units per year. The BT-AR owes its success to the wide range of application, the short axial length (this allows for more economic pump construction and saves material), and the best quality/price ratio.
The elasticity of the bellows design enables a more robust operation. The BT-AR can also be used as a multiple seal in tandem or back-to-back arrangement when the product media cannot ensure lubrication, or when sealing media with a higher solids content. Installation proposals can be provided upon request.
The BT-RN represents the traditionally designed robust pusher seal. This type of mechanical seal is easy to install and covers a wide range of applications; its reliability has been proven by millions of units in worldwide operation. It is a convenient solution for the widest range of applications: for clean water as well as chemical media.
FCCU metal expansion joints

Metal and fabric expansion joints are flexible connections, installed in piping and ducting systems to accommodate expansion and vibration caused by changes in temperature, pressure and media comprise.
There are various types of expansion joints used in FCCU applications: Tied Universals, Hinge, Gimbal and Pressure Balanced. All of these fall into one of three major categories: Cold Wall, Hot Wall, and Unlined FCCU joints that will be discussed in more detail.
The bellows membrane design for all three categories is basically the same; although the bellows membrane can be single ply, multi-ply, redundant ply or reinforced.
The Bellows Membrane
For many FCCU applications Inconel 625LCF (low cycle fatigue) is typically the material of choice. Almost identical to the original Inconel 625, this special bellows grade of Inconel 625 is used for its high strength, excellent fabricability (including joining), and outstanding corrosion resistance.
Fabric expansion joints
Fabric expansion joints are vital components in most industrial plants. They are installed as flexible connections in duct and piping systems to take up or compensate for thermal expansion, vibration and/or misalignment. Selecting the right expansion joint for your system is important toward ensuring reliable operation. A properly designed and installed expansion joint can ensure uninterrupted plant performance between scheduled maintenance shutdowns.
By combining different materials and taking into consideration the thermal, chemical and mechanical resistance as well as the fatigue properties of the material, our designers provide the optimum solutions both technically and economically. Fabric expansion joints are commonly used in power plants, FGD, cement, incineration, pulp & paper, petrochemical, metal fabrication, food processing, etc.
Metal expansion joints
Metal expansion joints are flexible connections, installed in piping and ducting systems to accommodate expansion and vibration caused by changes in temperature, pressure and/or media. Metal bellows are made of one or multiple plies of stainless steel in austenitic steel, Incoloys, Inconels or other formable materials. Metal expansion joints can be designed with hardware, intended to retain system pressure thrust load, while allowing intended design movement.
Our complete product range of metal expansion joints ranges from low pressure exhaust bellows to sophisticated engineered solutions for fluid catalytic cracking units. In any duct or piping system with a high temperature or a closed system with high pressure, where movements and pressure need to be accommodated, metal expansion joints are installed as flexible solutions.
